AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The 8th of Shawwal, the anniversary of the demolition of the shrine of the four Imams (a.s.) in the Al-Baqi' cemetery by the Wahhabi government of Saudi Arabia, is a day of mourning and sorrow for Shiites.
On the eve of this day, an opportune moment arises to incorporate attention to this heart-wrenching event in the history of Shiism into the ongoing nightly public gatherings in the main squares of Iranian cities, into the slogans, into urban decorations, into the services provided by public Mawkebs, and even into the missile strikes of the combatants, condemning this unforgivable affront to the Imams buried in Al-Baqi’ on the anniversary of this event, both in nightly public gatherings and with strategic planning on the battlefield.
Commemorating this day is a tribute to the plight of the four Infallible Imams (a.s.) of Shiism and an honoring of the suffering that still weighs heavily upon the heart of Shiism.
